I was talking to a guy at MSI in Roseville Ca that had a C6 with the clear bra installed and he was telling me he had to have it done 2 times because of the sun turning the clear bra a bit yellow after time. He said it wasn't really bad, But he could see the difference.
I am not sure the film he was using but most of the yellowing issues have been fixed by 3M. It was a problem with the adhesive. I have also found that a lot of yellowing is the type of wax used on the bra. A lot of waxes yellow over time... especially parafin based waxes. Try washing your car with Dawn soap after 6 months and see the yellow wash off in the water. Products like Zaino and Rejex do not yellow... and there are numerous more out there that work very well. The film will absorb what you put on it so using a good sealant will prevent most yellowing.

I like Bras , keeps the ladies supported.
I had a semi tire toss me a huge chunk of metal trash once (going down a mountain on the way to Gatlinburg, Tennessee), went right through the screened part of the bra on my brand new black 1998 Dodge Avenger ES, if I had not had the bra I would have had some major scratches in the plastic nose.
I need to get one for my C5, I like the no emblem, or cut out for emblem bras. One of these days I will get one
I would say for the best protection the GM Bra hands down.
I took your advice and picked up the GM bra. It came with 7 male screw-in stud snaps and the bumper cover has 9 female snaps. The instructions say that 7 is the correct number. So which snaps do you let hanging or do you go out and buy a couple more snap studs?
I have the Venturshield material clear bar on mine. Did the whole nose, part of the hood and behind all 4 wheels. This Ventureshield is amazing, even on black, zero added orange peel, wouldn't even know it was on the car if somebody didn't point it out. I had it installed by Protection Plus in East Longmeadow, MA and highly recommend them.
