There are far better tire options than Invos for high horsepower cars. Toyo R888's(the preferred street tire if you want the best combination of traction and handling on a street tire), Michelin PS2's(or whatever the newest version is), Nitto NT05's, etc.

the implication here is that even though i own a corvette, i don't poop gold nuggets. and even if i could afford to replace the tires every 10,000mi, that don't mean it makes sense to have to. i know there's a balance here that's hard to ride the fence on, but i'm looking for an affordable tire that's gonna offer the sizes, life (which i'm somewhat flexible on), and traction (i'm shooting for mid to upper 200s on treadwear) - and that's wet traction as well. this car only spends <5% of its time on the track
