Ordered a set of the AMBER/RED Euro Tail lights today. I noticed that the CLEAR(WHITE)/RED setup is close to $200 less. Anyone know why it would be that much of a difference in price?
The designs are exactly the same, except one is AMBER the other is CLEAR(WHITE).
No idea Micah. I fitted my ambers back in 06 and the prices were similarly different. $30 for the clears and I paid $300 for my kit with a harness at that time.

I paid for them, so I guess it doesn't matter now.
I needed ambers to comply with Brit safety regulations. Some guys here have used clears with amber bulbs and got away with it at the vehicle inspection.

I see. I just think the RED/AMBERS are better looking on TR. Just my opinion.
Post up a WTB for them, there are some out there that have them and are going to halos or other lights. That is how I got mine for cheap, they don't seem to be in style anymore, but I love mine!

For some reason, it has been that way for many years - was like that when I bought my clear/red euros probably 8 years ago. Doesn't make sense to me either.
Well, I was asking to see if anyone knew. I ordered mine (RED/AMBER) and can't wait until I get them installed. I guess it is a mystery we will never know the answer too.
is it me or do these look oh so slightly different than other sets of clears? Like the clear part is more...narrow, or something. I'm not sure might be the angle of the pic
