Default Euro tail lights

Ordered a set of the AMBER/RED Euro Tail lights today. I noticed that the CLEAR(WHITE)/RED setup is close to $200 less. Anyone know why it would be that much of a difference in price?

The designs are exactly the same, except one is AMBER the other is CLEAR(WHITE).

Puzzling.

No idea Micah. I fitted my ambers back in 06 and the prices were similarly different. $30 for the clears and I paid $300 for my kit with a harness at that time.

I paid for them, so I guess it doesn't matter now.

I needed ambers to comply with Brit safety regulations. Some guys here have used clears with amber bulbs and got away with it at the vehicle inspection.

I see. I just think the RED/AMBERS are better looking on TR. Just my opinion.

Post up a WTB for them, there are some out there that have them and are going to halos or other lights. That is how I got mine for cheap, they don't seem to be in style anymore, but I love mine!

Yeah, I haven't seen them for sale in quite a while. I have a set on my red car and was just curious as to who is selling them now.

For some reason, it has been that way for many years - was like that when I bought my clear/red euros probably 8 years ago. Doesn't make sense to me either.

Makes no sense to me, but I'm not complaining. I just bought a set of red/clear.

Well, I was asking to see if anyone knew. I ordered mine (RED/AMBER) and can't wait until I get them installed. I guess it is a mystery we will never know the answer too.

I wanted the cheaper white ones....
Goes well with Silver I think.

I put RED LED's in the white part. Can't see anything in there when the car is off, but its a BRIGHT red when I hit the turn signal.
