I have one on mine. It will throw lean codes if you don't have a screen on your maf or the power bridge because this setup creates a lot of turbulence.
Driving in the rain is not a problem unless you completely submerge the front end in water (in which case you'll have bigger problems to worry about).
I've driven over 13K miles on my VB2 and it's been one of the best mods to my car so far.
