interior lights behavior
the C5 seems to have some strange logic in the interior lights controller. either that or my C5 is possessed!
sometimes the lights go out as soon as teh door closes, sometimes they stay on for a time. seems to be related to how long the door was opened or if its the first open/close after turning off the engine.
the cluster lights and window controls lights come on with the interior lights. but sometimes i find that they stay on for a long time. even after the intior lights time out the cluster lights, HVAC, TC/AH, window controls etc will stay illuminated for 10-20 minutes it seems. sometimes I see the cluster lights eventually time out, then the window control lights only remain on for at least 20 minutes. I get bored waiting for them to go out but if I come back hours late they are off.
is that normal? or is there something wrong and the battery saver relay is saving me from them being stuck on permanently?
as far as I know its always been that way. but its the sort of things you only start to notice once you've made modifications to the interior lights such as adding LED strips.
