I am at a loss here, my friends car has a vpb front spring on it and the adjustment bolts well one was missing and the other was pushed all the way through.
He ordered new adjustment bolts and bushings for it, but installation of them doesnt seem possible.
he removed the one adjustment bolt that was on the car and now he has a hole in the spring nothing for the bolt to thread into.
the side that was missing the bolt also does not have anything for it to thread into.
Is this right does the bolt and bushing on this particular spring compress itself into the hole in the spring or is he missing parts?
any help would be useful.

he called them and they forgot to send him the female adapters that go in the spring. they are currently looking for a set to send to him.
