Default Cup holder

Anyone have a recommendation for a sturdy and durable cup holder for my 2001 C5 Coupe? I bought one from Mid America Motorworks and it was a piece of junk-a real waste of forty bucks!

I just bought one off that auction site that flips up when not in use and fits larger size cups. I believe there used to be a vendor here that sold them but I don't remember who?

I made the same post last week & this is what was suggested to me by the majority - Don't know which one you bought but this one is also 40 bucks with the vette tax - The Travel Buddy 2 - I like it - spent more money on matching jugs - I like nice jugs

I bought a couple of these. At this price point, I could not resist: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000Q86IQQ/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=siliconva014 3-20&linkCode=as2&camp=217145&creative=399 369&creativeASIN=B000Q86IQQ

I used four tiny screws, maybe 1/4" long and screwed it right into the carpet. It holds REALLY well! It holds the drinks perfectly as you simply adjust the “lips” to fit your drink. It safely holds anything from an 8.4oz can of Red Bull to a gigantic can of Arizona Iced Tea.

Even with sharp turns and acceleration, the drinks don’t move. I was especially impressed that it held a can of Red Bull without allowing it to tip, slide, or even budge!

EDIT: See picture below of the cup holder actually installed in my Z06. I have a second unit that I haven't installed yet. My wife, who is my passenger 99% of the time, has never had a complaint about it. It does not touch or come near her thigh.

I've used a gym shoe, that way it can be thrown in back when not in use.

Yup. This is the one you want. Just pick single or double and the color.
