Hit by a deer - Doh!!!
Well Friday on my way back from lunch a deer came out of no where and smashed into my drivers side windshield after it went acroos my hood and cracked my front right fender
I have only had the car 1 month and BAM!
Thank God
I did not get hurt
Just one little cut on my hand, other than that I was just cover in broken glass.

Glad you're okay. I did the same back in May. 6 grand in damage, but all covered by comprehensive (no deductable
) So now she looks like new again. Still a bummer though. Post some pics when you get her back, and again, glad you're okay.

This could have been a good excuse to upgrade the hood if the deer had cooperated.
It's great you're ok.

Ron White does a funny bit about his brother in law hunting deer and Ron hitting one with a van. He says just slow the bullet down to 55mph and put some lights on it and the deer will run into it.
I hit one with my old pickup years ago much the same except it didn't clear and bounced down the side of the truck. Scary. Glad you are OK.
