Default Jake lit up

Finally got Jake built and really to install. Welded a nut to the top and bottom of Jake so it stands off a 1/4" from the red pexiglas. A "trailer" light housing sits behind the pexiglas and everything is screwed to the nuts welded to Jake. I am using a small #1156 light bulb until I can find an appropriate LED bulb. Going to attach it to either the license plate light or the brake light (which I prefer.) I still need to polish the stainless steel pieces. The red glow behind the plate will also play off the exhaust pipes.

Default Jake is "mounted"

Thanks for the kind words guys. Even with a sore back I couldn't put it off any longer. Mounted and connected to the 3rd brake light.

I tried to figure out how to do a C5 logo but just meant another piece or two to cut and attach.

The way I figure it, Jake is Jake!

I definately NEED to change out the light with an LED (or put the original #1156 bulb back in).

Great job

I need a high intensity fog light here in UK. I've been thinking about trying to make something similar which would take a 21w light in a small box. I was thinking about using an exhaust plate and cutting out the areas inside the C5 logo.

Thanks for posting
