Hi guys,
So is there any one specific tool\software or programable item that you would say is a "must own" for C5 owners to be able to "do it all" on their car?
By this I mean reprogram chips, modules, everything. Not for racing or performance mind you...just to keep it running stock.
What I am getting at is I also own a few BMWs and there are certain things necessary to own to be able to reprogram some of the modules and such so you don't have to ever take it back to a dealer. Over the years I have collected this software and cables to do things like connect a laptop to the car to reprogram or align control modules.
Is there anything ever needed like this for a Vette? I ask as mine only has 23k miles on it but I want to be ready should I ever need it. One of my other cars went down once and I waited 2 weeks for a cable to come from Germany so I am trying to prevent that on my Vette.
