The only way I could see someone paying anything for it, was if they wanted to restore the C5 back to factory original. And even then they most likely would not want to pay much for it.

Really unless you can find someone that wants to put their car back to stock because they may be selling it, you will have a hard time selling a stock exhaust. Just not worth much to most owners.
Mine is sitting in my garage, taking up space. Originally I kept it in case I wasn't happy with my aftermarket...but now it's just taking up space. Only has 9,500 miles on it so it's actually really clean. Maybe I'll keep it for another 30 years until somebody who's restoring a "vintage" C5 in the year 2041 is willing to pay me $1,000 for an OEM exhaust to complete their restoration. ;-) LOL.
One day original exhausts for C5s will be like smog equipment for the '60's and early '70's musclecars and Corvettes--much sought after and expensive because so many people removed their original stuff and tossed it. But now there isn't much demand.
Did you people know the original cat-back pieces are serial numbered to the pipe in front? At least the three or four C5s I've seen have been. Wonder why that was done? If you have a nice C5 you should save your original exhaust for that reason alone.
They are completely worthless and I strongly doubt that they will ever be sought after in the future. The aftermarket catbacks are of such higher quality and look 100 times better. This was not always the case with the more vintage Vettes.
