Default Changing Tires--Lowering it and re-aligning

First of which tires should I consider? Should I go with 255/40 in the front? I'm keeping the stock wheels. I know how to lower it (thanks to Tech Tips), but what are the Alignment Specs after lowering it. Please answer quickly as I'm running on tires that are illegal by Formula 1 standards (4 grooves showing).

I would keep the stock size tire unless you have some reason to change sizes.

As far as alignment goes, either align it to stock or custom specs after lowering it. The key is to have the car at the alignment you want after making a height change. Of course, depending on how far you lower it, doing the alignment at all may not be necessary.

I had mine aligned because I want it set up for the track more than for the street.
