Here is a link to find non-ethanol fuel in your area if it is legal and available. Most non-ethanol fuel (at least here in FL) is 90.7 octane, but the pump shows 90 octane. You can always add a bottle of Techron to it every tankfull or two or three.
My car runs better and gets better mileage with the old-fashioned gas.

I use mostly ethanol-free in all my vehicles, lawn tractor, edger, weed-eater, and generator, costs maybe, $2.00 more a fill-up (automobiles), octane here is 93, but I still add a bottle of Techron every couple of fill-ups. I used to be a staunch Chevron user until I found the ethanol-free gas here.

I have been reading a lot on this forum about low sulfur gasoline.
I have tried to search on the internet to find out which brands have the lowest content. any help is appreciated. Oh I am in NJ.
also I have seen that some use sea foam or cheveron additives to clean sensors in tanks. just wondering if other brands work also, like STP etc.
thanks.
I live on the other side of the river from you, But my experience has been that I would never use Sunoco, my GM Master technician has told me many times that Sunoco has way too much Sulfur in it. While innocent, sulfur after awhile will build up on the small things like your gas gauge and once clogged, Well you can figure what's next. But I use Exxon Mobil 93 octane or Shell V93. Both will give you the best bang for your buck. But stay away from 'Mom & Pop" stations. They buy whatever is the cheapest, if their only making $0.15 a gallon pumped, then they need to buy cheap, and sell what looks like a good deal. But you in the end get a tankful of pure junk.
On top of the quest for a good product to fill your tank, The battle is getting harder. Most gasoline refiners have the equipment to make a really good grade of really pure Gasoline that will give you great performance. That being said, in steps the federal Government, and the EPA has set one of it's goals at 15% ethanol or more. This will do a number of things, 1. your gas mileage will drop by 2-3 MPG, 2. continued use of high ethanol will lead to rust or corrosion of all of those little metal parts in your fuel system. Personally I have wrote my Congressmen and U.S. Senator to stop this stupid idea of smashing corn and squeezing ethanol out of it. But Corn belongs on your dinner table or in the food industry, Not in Gasoline products. But that's just my opinion. But living in New Jersey, you can use Mobil, Texaco or Shell. Personally, I'd stay with Shell.V.93 Your Corvette will thank you ! Good luck. And happy motoring !

I use a local brand in mine (MFA Oil) and through three C5s, no problems with the gas gauge. I do add a bottle of Techron concentrate every now and then though.
Chevron bought Texaco several years ago. The idea was to have refineries on the east and west coast for both Texaco and Chevron. The financial justification (based on reduced distribution costs) was covered in Chevron's Annual Report a few years back. Exxon did the same trick with Mobil. So Chevron=Texaco and Exxon=Mobil
I was also told to stay away from Sunoco, the same as "killain". I had problems with my gas gauge but since changing to Shell V-Power 6 years ago I haven't had a problem.
