i know sea foam is big in the 3000gt/stealth world..as well as the dsm world as well...it does work some wonders...and it really does work!..good stuff
Ive had a 94 vr4 & 95 vr4, glad I got rid of those things while they were hot! (back in 06)
The car itself has around 93k miles on it, but the dealer shows the motor and tranny were replaced under warranty around 36-40k miles. Anybody have a description of the line that should be used for the upper intake to be cleaned out?
So much negativity against sea foam! Folks have been running other cleaning agents inside engines for years including methanol (liquid form) aka windshield washer fluid & automatic transmission fluid.
Sea foam is by far the best I've ever used. The best method is using it in 1/3's. Use it in your oil, gas, and through the intake manifold. It is a cleanser and it works really well. You should not let the engine die of course. You have to let the engine run and of course throttle it, while running it through your vacuum hose. When finished with the bottle, run the engine hard through it's gears on the highway so you burn off any excess in the manifold. After 30 miles, complete an oil change.

Quick question:
Why did I buy and install an oil catch can?
If these products are mostly light oils and we run them through the intake manifold or mix them with fuel, then why does it make sense to run the oil catch can? Seems like I am removing oil using one system and then adding it using another.
