Default Chrome Wheels

I'm looking for a set of chrome wheels, same size/off-set etc. as a stock wheel. Any suggestions???? (new owner and wanting to get it right the first time.)

The only wheel we have in the exact sizes are the chrome thin spokes.

Most of our wheels upgrade the front to a 1 inch wider wheel which still works for the base models. The offsets bring the wheels out flush with the fenders and QTR panels which produces a more aggressive look.

There are a lot of wheels out there that will meet what you want. The question is what do you want to pay.

Lots of aftermarket wheels to choose from. There are the C5 Z06 wheels in chrome, C6 wheels in chrome (which you should be able to get in stock sizes), and as mentioned above, companies like Cray and I-forged make some nice wheels.

First of all I was not trying to be a smart a$$, but based on the post above it is somewhat of the question.
If you are not concerned about the price than I would select one of the top brands, but if you want a chrome wheel that fits a normal budget, go with one of the many reproduction wheels. I bought a set of stock C5 size with the correct offset for my '01 about 4 years ago and paid about $800.00.

I just installed a set of repo c5 wheels for my 04. There was a mistake in the order and I received a chrome thin spoke 17x8.5 for the front (stock Size) and they accidentally sent a chrome 5 spoke deep dish chrome 18x9.5 (stock size) for the rear. Fatter spokes plus the deep dish look. They sat in the garage for a week and I never saw the mistake until after they were installed. Called the wheel co. and they were willing to send me the correct wheels for the rear at their cost with no shipping, but the more I looked at them the more I liked them. Now I love the look and so do most people who see the car. They give the rear a wider look than a thin spoke. Around 700.00 for the set and the chrome is perfect and the installer, A good friend with a top shelf front end business told me he was amazed at how true the wheels actually were. Chinese cast as you would expect for this price. Very happy I bought them. I thought I read where you cannot post URL's to non supporting vendors and I am not sure if they are or not so if you are interested pm me for more info.

Mine are C6 Z06 in stock C5 size from Bob's House of Wheels. There are lots of good choices out there, just keep searching this forum and you'll see them all. Zuti

You bought a set that were "stock size" or were they "stock wheels" for a C5? Got a picture??

Mike, I recommend 1st Rate Corvette. Tell Keith that John in Niagara Falls, Canada sent you.

http://www.1stratecorvetteparts.com/

Perhaps you might like these
chrome C5 thin spokes. Keith also sells other chrome wheels.

No they were not stock wheels, they are reproduction C6 Z06 chrome but I ordered them in the 17F 18R and with the proper C5 offset. I also ordered blank center caps and C5 Logo decals for the caps.

I see several sets of C5 polished thin spokes available on Craigslist
at several cities. If you like those factory polished wheels they are easy to find.
