Transmission cable
My trans cable broke on my 04 A4. Had it replaced for 350.00. The shop said it was a lot of work. It was a corvette shop that did the work. How often does that cable go bad? Is it a common problem? The car has 26300 miles seems it did not last very long. Will it break again or did I just get a bad one.

Ok thanks I hope it goes to 70,000 miles. The shop I used was recomended by a buddy of mine. They did heads cam and converter on his f body he was very pleased. Next year I plan on headers and a dyno tune they will get the job.
