How's the air conditioning?
I've been looking around at C5's and I have an easy question. How is the air conditioning in these cars? It get's pretty hot in the summer here in New Jersey and my LS400 is black on black which is hot as hell. I'm looking to get a black on black c5 as well

Here in Austin it's hitting 106 in the afternoon and mine gets so cold I have to turn up the temp after a few minutes of driving.

Good one!
I agree with the others. As long as your system is operating properly and fully charged, no worries.

The car will be a little warmer with the glass roof if you get a coupe, but the A/C does just fine in keeping it cool inside.

If you get one, just place memo on the calendar to clean out the crap that gets stuck on the radiator and between the two. Easy to do.

Mine seemed like the efficiency was getting low and that it was, it was low on freon so I charged it up (Have all the necessary tools) and now just going to the doctors office I was freezing

In 50 plus days of over 100 degree temps here, you can still hang meat in my coupe.

i live in south florida and have a convertible to boot and i have the auto temp set at 72 and after initial cool down i usually run the fan on 1 or not more than 2 bars and am very comfortable even at mid day. no complaints about the C5 air from me.

As long as I add a can of freon every year it will blow at 48*-52* out of the vents.

Very good A/C and heat in these cars. Easily handles the weather in the Garden State.
The roads are another matter.
