I'm starting to buy some replacement parts for my 2001 C5. With the car being 10 yrs old, do I need to buy new sensors or just wait until something goes bad with them?
Replace them the next time you get new tires--this will $ave time and trouble later on. You can get new ones from Gene and sell the old ones on that auction site.

If they are working now, just keep them. Yes they are getting close to the expected useful life, but no use changing them now and then having to break the beads down again when you add tires. I figure the fewer times someone has to mess with my wheels the better off I am in terms of avoiding scratches, gouges, etc on the wheels. Of course, if they go out before you need new tires, then obviously it would be time to put new TPS in the wheels.
