If anyone needs some touch up spray paint and can't find it, look on ebay. I needed some torch red for my C5 but Duplicolor does not make the spray anymore. I found someone on ebay who had a stock of it cheap.

I'd be pretty weary of buying paint online unless you ask the right questions. IE: enamel, vs base coat/clear, color match, etc.... I just ordered slate gray for my subaru from a local company. Their spray bombs are "made to order." and take about a day to make but they are pretty spot on, not like some of the generic stuff you will find online. The cost was about $25 since it was enamel based and will be used for a couple of trim pieces. That being said, I have a spot on my bumper that I need to redo on the vette, and it will cost $35 for the spray bomb, and $15 for the clear...add tax and I'm close to $70. Not to bad I suppose, but I might get a professional quote from a friend to see what the price difference will be. Sorry didn't mean to jack the thread, just wanted to make people aware that you might be able to find something better locally. The price might be a few dollars higher, but isn't your vette worth it???
Just go to any GM dealer, and have them order it...it will be the right match using the right color code. its about 15 dollars and takes about a week. But its the right stuff. Some automotive paint suppliers can mix up some paint and put it in a rattle can.. that cost about 30 dollars for a 16 oz can... Its not as batch correct as the stuff you get from a GM dealer.
I had good luck with Advance Auto Parts because by the time you add in shipping ebay isn't that cheap on stuff like that.
the reason i look on ebay was b/c duplicolor does not make spray in the color i needed anymore. i just happened to find someone who had a stock of it. only paid $16 for 2 cans with shipping.
As mentioned, places like automotivetouchup.com. can put some spray cans together for you. This is the real deal two part factory paint package, so you'll need to clear top coat it for gloss. Actually Dupli-Colors usually the single part laquer. Maybe consider getting raw product/thinner and use a small Preval sprayer. These are basically a glass jar, with a gas charged nozzel on top, and work quite well. A shot a replacement steering column with with of these, and no way you could ever tell it wasn't factory.
How much area are you touching up?
If you are touching up rock chips, the best touch paint that I ever used is Dr. ColorChip. After touchup, it looks factory smooth. None of the ugly texture you get by brushes.
Another thing of mention is the paint code, but sounds like you already have it. It's usually the the last numbers on the glove box sticker after BC(base coat) CC(clear coat) U(upper). If your car had lower accent paint, would be an L(lower) code too. In the case of my black car it's 8555. Just add the industry WA, and it's officially WA8555 for my car.
