Anyone else have any problems replacing LED's and then other lights don't work. I installed LED's in side marker, license plate cargo area and footwells. Now reverse lights don't work. Any Ideas.

LED's can often cause electrical gremlins as many have experienced. Sometimes the problem can be fixed by switching to a different LED. When did you notice your problem? Did you notice it after you did the complete list of upgrades, or did it happen when you did a specific upgrade? IE: after side marker upgrade, or license plate upgrade or after you did everything at once?
Didn't notice till after the fact. Guess I will undo them one step at a time to start. Worse case I go back to the regular bulbs. Thanks for the reply I need all the help I can get

Try starting with your side markers, and if that isn't it then try the license plate lights. In my experience with LED switchbacks I had similar problems and had to buy a set of regular non switchback LED's. I even installed LED bulbs on my tail lights but again, they didn't quite work properly as when the driving lights were on they wouldn't work, but brake lights and turn signals worked...go figure. Good luck sir
I coudln't get LEDs to work with my side marker lights. I have no idea why. I gave up and put in regular red bulbs. My 2nd set of switchback front lights work great though. The first set was a waste of 60 dollars.

For LEDS to work in side markers...
You have to pull the LED out of the housing.
Trim off a good litle bit of the plastic housing with a blade.
Then put the LED back in its housing.
Easy thing to do. Took me 5 mins top an thats with install.
The LED is bottoming out inside the side marker..
Thus the reason for cutting an making it the whole LED shorter...

You shouldn't have to cut your leds to fit. If so they're too long.
Where did they come from? I've never heard of the reverse lights not working from installing leds. Did you try the stock reverse lights again? Maybe a fuse blew or something...
I'm not seeing the LED's as your problem. The only "electrical gremlins" that should pop up would be with the flasher on a C5. The lower current makes the lights flash fast (like a burnt out bulb). I have LED's throughout my car and the only gremlins have been with the LEDs themselves (cheap chinese crap), not the other lights.
Well reversed everything, no b/u lights so I put the LED's back in. Checked bulbs, both good, Checked fuse and it's good. Now I don't know where to go from here.

Then the switch off the tranny is bad and not closing the reverse light circuit. Check that my friend.

So do the A4's have switches on the tranny too. I am new to the mechanical/electrical for the vette. Learning as I go. Next I will check the relay. I found the relay but dont know how it comes out. Thanks again.
