Well....this bites.
The glue held up for about 7 yrs but finally let go on one of my gauge bezels. I saw it this AM when I went out for an early morning drive. Fortunately, not a tough job to fix......but still a PIA. I guess it will give me the chance to see how the other bezels are holding up.

I put super glue "dots" all the way around spaced about 1/2" apart. Use tweezers.
Btw, in this case "a bit" is code for 27 minutes, not to be confused with 12 1/2 cents.

Mine came off even when applied with superglue on my 97 C5 several times over the 4 years of ownership, mostly in cold weather.
So when I bought my 02, I was sure these pieces were not on my Mod list.

That sucks. Good luck tearing the dash apart and getting the bezel back in place.

I have used 3m exterior body tape on my Z for almost 6 years now and the vert for over a year in hot cold and 25k miles of driving. Fingers crossed I never have an issue. On an upside they get easier each time.

One word: silicone. You just have to be careful with the distribution as it can ooze if you use too much.

I had to get back into my cluster 3 times to fix bezels that came loose, typically in the cold weather... Check the others REALLY well!
