Should I modify or not ?

Good point... I have 273 gears right now. I looked into swapping the diff. but that would cost me 700 for a used one plus another 700 (at least) to put it in. This would be great unless I made some more mods then I would prob. be wishing I had the old gears in because of too much wheel spin. I really like the C5 style more than the C6's especially the interior ! The only reason I am thinking of getting rid of it is because I got a GREAT buy on it a couple years ago and I dont let it sit (having way too much fun driving it) so the miles are racking up quick. Here is another idea I had, Finding a dealer with an 03 or 04 Z51 (lower gears allready) w/ low miles and trade it in while it is still worth something ?
Like some of you said, I should just leave it alone and have fun with it as it is !!! The only reason I'm thinking of this is because I got smoked by a little saturn convertible the other day (musta been tricked right out). Thanks for all the ideas keep them comming !!

Stock C5s aren't that quick by today's standards, as the Saturn Sky showed you. I used to beat stock ones at the track in my G8 all the time.
Why trade it it on an 03-04 car? The money you'll lose on yours would pay for the mods you want.
