Default headliner issues

Recently my headliner in my 2002 coupe is starting to droop only in the middle. I live in Florida so the summers are bad. What can I do to fix it?

Go ahead and fully remove the liner. Assuming it's a Targa, remove your roof and set it on a table on top of an old bedspread or soft towel for easier access.
Once the liner is removed take some time and try to remove as much of the factory adhesive from the roof panel as possible.
Next mask off the edges of the headliner with some masking tape and spray an adhesive such as "3M Super90" in a horizontal pattern across the backside of the headliner overlapping your spray pattern by about 25%.
Perform the same adhesive activity with your targa top, after masking the exposed areas on it as well.
After a brief "tack" period, say 30-45 seconds, reinstall the liner in your targa section. Try working the panel from the middle to the outside after you have verified proper alignment of the headliner within the targa.
Be certain to carefully press down the edges as well.
I would try to keep the targa in a relatively cool area after completing this to allow the glue adequate time to set.
Hope that helps man.
