Default Retractable Front License Plate Holder

I just purchased a 2003 Z06 and live in MN where they require a front plate. What is the general feeling about the Show N Go retractable front license plate holder? Do those that have them like them or not? I am considering getting one, but don't like that you can still see the frame when it is under the car.

I have it. It does not look bad. I think a front plate looks worse.

Does the retractable plate still function with a chin spoiler on the car?
If so does the spoiler hide the corner that sticks out?

I guess it is just a matter of which looks better - the plate in the stock location of one that you may only see a portion of the frame when the plate is stowed under the front fascia. I would think the latter would be better.

Is it worth the extra $100 for the power unit or is the manual unit ok?

The advantage of teh powered one would be that you could drive with it up..UNTIL the cop pulled you over... "No officer... really it WAS up!"

I just adapted one of these to my dd Mini Cooper and love it - especially compared to how a front plate looks on the car. And this shows a bit more on the Mini than on a C5. Here's a short video.

They aren't noticeable when installed. We sell them all the time, never a returned unit!

We have them on sale for $48.99!

Many of these you have to DRILL into the fascia to mount them!

I made the one on the car in the avatar.

I like it, but everyone is different.

That looks great with the screen air vent. Might be the way to go.
