If worse comes to worse, it's not that much more of a job to remove the splined hub. With the hub out of the way, getting the spring back is a breeze. Good time to lube the splines and get rid of a click too!!

I was able to put back the retention spring took me 10min and 2 thin flat tips screw drives and a flash light.....Its like a surgery....Use the thin flattip screw drivers to guide the grooves on the V shaped spring to the 2 clips on the backing plate. Slide the rotor and put the caliper bracket on. I had to stop till Tuesday since I broke on of the caliper bolts in the guide pin. AutoZone and the dealership didnt have any in stock so I ordered a pair and should get them on Tuesday..
The thing i find worrying is the rotor is not snugged in and it has a little bit of wiggling, IS THAT NORMAL???????? I mean I understand there is nothing holding the rotor

yes, normal...they are floating rotors...designed that way.
Thanks to everyone who helped. I'm getting ready to do my breaks all around. Sorry you ran into problems, but I think this will help me in doing my project.
Ok so i finished installing the rotor and new pads on the driver rear side....which is great and AHA was make sure the parking brake is not engaged.
Ok so today I had free time and wanted to do the passenger rear side. Took the tire off, took the caliper bolt, one of them broke it seems they had red locktite on them. So now i was trying to get the caliper braket off, could loosen the bolts, so i got an impact wrench with max torque of 220 ft lbs, was able to squeeze it and loosen the upper bolt.
I couldnt squeeze it for the lower bolt so went and got an impact wrench elbow adapter so i can reach the bolt. I was happy but ran the impact wrench for like 10min the bolt didnt even move 1mm. I have no more ideas
What can i do to get the last bolt loosen so I can replace the rotor....
