Replace A/C comp., water pump, spark plugs and wires.
Might replace the sway bar end links.
We can drive year round other than the ice and snow days which as a rule are not too bad or too many.

Find a reasonably priced C6Z while they are out of season then fix up a few little issues on the C5 and sell it in the spring... (just gotta finish justifying this to myself). A friend of mine just got one a few months ago and now that I've driven it I WANT ONE in the worst way.

Not to spend no more money in this money pit. I know it not a C5, But going to put air on the 65 vette, Then lift the body off the frame and redo the frame of the car. May not be in that order Robert
Mine will be more like Fall projects since I don't have a garage. Been too hot to work outside lately so will let it cool off a little but not wait until it's too cold and wet.
Been collecting parts for a couple days of work.
New slotted rotors (still need to get pads)
C6 z06 Sway bars
HID lights
plugs and wires
Would like to do shocks while doing brakes so need to get those and tires are ready to go.
Also ready for fuel filter and would like to flush cooling system.
But I'll also drive it all seasons except in snow!
I know it's still summer, and some of you may be fortunate enough to live in an area that doesn't require putting the car up for the winter, but let's hear what you guys have planned for your C5.
I'm still a newbie and likely will do the normal "bringing the car back to as new as possible" stuff.
1. I would like to address the dang F45 squeak (I wished there was a way to at least quiet it temporarily)
2. Do the rocking seat repair
3. Replace some fluids
4. Heavy detailing of the entire car
What about you guys? I've learned a lot from all of you and would like to hear about your plans.
Well, I repaired the rocking drivers seat, replaced the manual transmission fluid and replaced the rear axle fluid this weekend. I even took it for for a short drive to stir up the fluids before draining. Three more months until Spring!!!
My C6 will go into storage tomorrow in the Caymans till spring break. My C5 will come out of storage this Friday and will be tearing up the roads in North Florida.
Sorry, all your northern guys. I know how it goes, lived in Pine City,Minn. for a few winters.
