I had black leather headrests made to go on my tan leather seats and I really like them. What I wanted was the C5 emblem added to the headrest but could not get that done as the vender does not have a liciense from GM to do this.Well I tried stick on decals to no avail, then I bought iron on patches and because I wasn't about to put a hot iron on my headrests I tried sticking them on with 3m double sided tape but with the top down the wind started tearing them off,I then traced the decal onto 3' wide masking tape, cut it out with a razer blade, stuck it onto the head rest and covered the seat and sprayed it with contact cement as I also did to the iron on .This worked for awhile until it got really hot out and then it started to come off.Sewing them on is not an option because of the way they are made.I am looking for any ideas about this and will very much appreciate it.Sorry for the length but I though I should explain what I had already done.there was nothing in search that i seen.
Thanks
Fred

the cyberdine graphics raised emblems will stick, but they are expensive....I have one on my center console....worked like a charm; and that is on alcantara cloth!.

Fred, what were you thinking? Why didn't you get the headrests done at a shop the could do RIGHT the first time! Now, you're going to spend more...it's called 'false economy'!

Well JETZ I wasn't thinking. I have never had any experience in these kind of things.I usually do it 2 or 3 times before I get it right but for a $190.00 I would have liked to get it right the first time. Thanks anyway
Fred
Wow, cut ME some slack!
Wasn't beating down on Fred, he's pizzed off as is. Just commenting on fact that you can't fix some things after the fact, and in trying will cost more in the end than a pricier version to begin with. Sometimes a 'bargain' is not what it pretends to be... in other words 'look before you leap' with your dough, and read the fine print.
Just sayin!
