With the stealership ads and internet quotes it's all about trying to get you to come in so the can work you.

Sure a dealer might offer you 9k on a new 40k car and another 6k on a 20k car. Bottom line is you're gonna get wholesale book or less on a trade. Anything over that is loaded in the price they are telling you for the new ride.

Best way is sell your car and then go shopping with cash.
