[Z06] Bilsteins softer than stock?

Bilsteins softer than stock?
Just put a set of bilstein sports on my 03 Z. The reason was...ever since
I did a trans rebuild, the rear has been acting wierd...very soft and not
tracking at all with the front...so I thought maybe the stock shocks were
done.
I did a lot of research and the Bilsteins came up with very high marks...second only to the 04 Z shocks, which are very expensive.
So on went the Bilsteins yesterday...to my surprise...they are riding even
softer than the stockers and the rear is even more wishy washy...feels like you have marbles in the back and severe understeer.
I thought maybe the rear leaf got damaged in the trans swap, but I look
at it very carefully today and I can't find any damage..
I am going to try an alignment tomorrow...maybe the shop can find
something. If anyone has any experience with this problem...please
give some input.
