Oil usage poll
Thinking of trading up to a Z but this oil problem has me very concerned. I looked for a previous poll but didn't find one. Post a new question if you need to. Thanks for voting. :)

I now have 12,400 miles on my '01. I was burning a qt per 800 to 1000 miles. Update rings installed 1000 miles ago and now oil consumption completely gone!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

2OO2 ZO6 with 2400 miles and no oil loss at all. I have run it pretty hard at times for fun and to see if it made any difference in oil usage. Still running at the full mark :chevy :flag

Can you guys tell me why GM likes to put Synthetic in when they know its not better for a break in? Dino would let the rings seat properly, then they could mandate that you change over to Mobil 1 at your next oil change after purchase. :confused:
