TTT to the top and bump means the same thing. It's used to take a post and bump it to the top of the posting when it has sunk many spots below

Obvious? On what planet? If the 2 previous posters didn't explain it I would still have no clue.

Default Right ON!

Should be obvious if you have been exposed. Ask questions so that you understand the language. Many great corvette minds on the forum and by reading and more importantly understanding you can increase the learning curve.
Only a jerk will put you down! So keep asking questions and don't worry when someone tries to put you down. Great forum and most are behind you.

Couldn't figure out TTT and had to ask - three years ago!

I still scratch my empty skull on a few certain acronyms on this forum also.

Isn't there a sticky or post-it page somewhere on the forum that defines the acronyms. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying do a search or something rude like that, 'cause it didn't help me. It just seems that when I registered here that I saw a key to these somewhere, but I can't find it. Maybe thinking of a different site/forum.

and I think it was a put down. There is NOTHING obvious about a blank post with TTT on it that would give an uninitiated person a clue that it referred to a post or was a coded comment by another poster.
You are entitled to your opinion, as incorrect as it is. What you intended and what you stated are 2 different things, and you should not have wasted your time, mine, or the kind people who provided help for me.

Sometimes the only way you learn is to ask - heck, I'm still learning things here and I've been here over 10 years.

Me too!! Just to make sure it's clear,,and you probably have noticed by now, that anytime some one adds a post to a thread it "bumps" that thread back to the top of the list,,thus the TTT and Bump. Some threads slow down or get slow responses,,and during active times can slip down the list pretty fast so the O.P. (original Poster) or some one will bump it back up so it's more likely to get a response.
