Looking at some of the service manuals on the auction site........are these any good? There is one that is for all chevys from 98 to 2009 ( I think), there is another for 2000-2001 corvette. (mine is 2001). I wouldn't mind paying the $20 if they are good.
Nothing wrong with my car......just would like to have the service/shop manual in case I want to get into a litte project.
Oh......do they have good pictures????? Thanks for any advice.

They're not bad. You can actually download those for free on this forum... The diagrams are just okay. I'd highly recommend investing in a set of helms factory service manuals if you're going to be doing your own work...
I have both the Techline Esi program and the Helms manuals. Mine's an older set so it came on CDs and covers up to the 04 model year. It has all GM cars not just the Vette. It does most of what the paper manuals do but it can be temperamental. Sometimes it just stops working and has to be reloaded. Installation is quirky and you have to disable virus protection and Java.
Big difference in price though. $20 ish vs $140 ish for paper.

Been wondering about the quality of the CD/DVD manuals too. I have the Helms paper copy for my car and it is a good resource. Bought it used here on the forum and saved some money.
