Interesting...I was going to go white, but then I got a set of amber from JW and I gotta say they are awesome...the nighttime look is cool...I'll take a pic one day.
The benefit to these besides the color is they do not get hot like the stock bulbs. Those are known to burn through housings which causes you to burn out more bulbs and $ for replacements.

Yes and no. You can plug them right in to the stock housings. However the LEDs will hyperflash unless you either:
a. put a resistor in line with the lights
b. put a replacement solenoid in the dash
I went with option B. Was easier than trying to find a place to put the resistors which can get very hot and if I ever upgrade my rears to LEDs I won't have to put resistors on them as the dash solenoid will cover those as well.

Guess I'm in the minority when it comes to the hyperflash effect when using your directionals, as I like it and think it makes your turn signal more visable to other drivers. I do not plan on trying to "correct" it. Your signals still work but at a faster rate - thus creating the term hyperflash. It's all up to personal preference.
So, Vetteman Jack - you can just buy the bulbs from JW Motoring and replace your amber blubs with these. If you 're like me and like the hyperflash, there is nothing else you have to do or buy.

A lot of our customers actually like it. The annoying clicking got to me. I don't mind the blinking.
