I disagree (I have 2 currently have 2 mustangs besides my vette & camaro-so I know quite a bit about them). You should have this race (if you can drive well). The 2004 mustang is the older 2 valve car which made 260 to the crank in N/A form. It should make somewhere in the neighborhood of around 360HP to the wheels with the blower (if it's working correcty).
Your car should make around 305 to 320 to the wheels. You also have a 400 to 600lb weight advantage.
The above assumption is based on his car with a stock Roush blower w/no pulley upgrade. Like some said, go to the track & have fun.
Here is copy/paste from an article:
The new Roush Stage 3 was introduced last winter in three variations: the base model at $39,500, the optioned-up Rally model at $44,050, and the fully loaded Premium model at $48,975. There's an Eaton-built Roots-type supercharger on top of its SOHC 4.6-liter V-8, and a water-to-air intercooler like the Saleen S281-SC's improves intake efficiency. Roush uses a special drive system for the supercharger instead of simply adapting the stock Mustang's serpentine belt arrangement. Six psi of boost produces 360 horsepower at 5250 rpm.
its probably not street racing guys, he means a 30 roll on a closed course where its perfectly legal to speed and race.....no need for the thread lock patrol to close a perfectly fine thread.
Boy, this is simple, You would win, YOU HAVE THE CORVETTE, a true American Sports Car! Even if you never started it up that motor, YOU WON, just sitting there low to the ground, race suspension, 5.7 c.c., YOU WON.... Now tell that Roush Mustang, go play with the rice rockets and when you grow up, sell the Roush and go purchase a real man's sports car.... Now wasn't that easy..

I ran a 427r rousche(197 body style-99-04) when I bought my 01c5z, I was stock lowered on factory bolts and reg radials.manageably took it down with a 12.09 @116 ...I think the guy went a 12.2x but I know he was blown when I came around him in 3rd ... MY car was BONE STOCK
12.09 in a stock 01??? That's some good driving. Doesn't sound stock. Especially at 116MPH.
CAI, LT Headers, Aftermarket exhaust, an aggressive cam and a tune,,,most rustangs don't want to play!
The one's that do wish they hadn't!
When you run across one with a blower you'll be the one wishing you hadn't. There are some wicked fast Mustangs around me. Keep in mind that there is no Corvette tax on stangs so it's relatively cheap to make them VERY fast.
Sometime look up LT headers costs on a mustang... I think you'll be surprised.

Your stock 4L60E might not come out of this well...

Mustangs carry the penalty weight gain of Child car seats, diaper bags, makeup bags, hair brushes, Dollar General plastic bags, and a lot of other girl stuff.
