I wanted to do it really bad and I bought one and it just wouldn't work out for my set-up -
I have the cold air screen where the license plate goes and it hung a little too low with the motor and bracket - I like the concept but I ended up making my own bracket to mount my plate off to the side

I adapted one (I had originally bought it for my C5) to my Mini Cooper S because it's my dd - works well. Someone here recently posted how it saved them from a fix-it ticket when they were pulled over. I need to order another one for my vette so I can finally mount it. Here's a video of mine.
