Hi, guys has anyone here have painted their lights I mean tail lights, and sidemarkers. I wanna see some pictures of actual painted ones ...had anyone done it ? And how?...thanks
its called spray tint. u can do it yourself or some body shops offer this kind of work. did it on myself on my trans am which i dont have anymore (ill c if i can find any picts)
Tint shops also do a wrap on them. Some stretchy vinal crap they heat up and it sucks up around lights.did mine last year so far so good.sorry no pics at monment.im on my phone.cant figure out how to post pics from phone.
Anyone have pics of VHT on the back-up / plate lights? Ugliest part of the rear end imo. I bought the stick-ons but they look horrible and took them off.
My Z with one coat of Niteshades on the taillights and 2 coats on the side marker lights. The tail lights are very visible in the daytime and the brake lights are REALLY visible in the daytime or nighttime. 2 coats made the side marker light very dark but it is still visible at night.

I would like to do this also as I have the plexiglass kit now. I noticed no one painted the reverse lights. Why not? How do you add black to clear paint?
This is what I did. I have Euro lights and I got my paint shop to tint them, I wanted to get rid of the fugly backup lights so I use the inside pair of the tail lights as backup lights and the flashers are on the outside pair. I then got my number plate guy to make up a plate to cover the area where the backup lights/no. plate holder are incorporating a correct size Euro plate.

You can do them no problem, same as the other lights too, but when you are backing up, you cant see anythingggg
