If you really wanted to go with Borla, then do it - don't worry about what your friend is running on his car.
Either of the B&B or GHL would be a good choice - however, I know that when I had the B&B Route 66 on my '00, the drone and popping noise was bad and it took an X-pipe to make it tolerable. What about Corsa - they make a great exhaust system with no drone at all.
Here's my vote for GHLs. I have an 04Z with LG Streets and no cats. Love the sound and it seems that others do too. I get compliments all the time. Most folks tend to hang around my rear quarter panels to hear them. At least that's what I tell myself.
I have B&B Bullet's....and they ROCK
Drone?.....What drone? The B&B Bullet are BAD A$$!!!
It should be against the law to run a Vette without them!!!
You won't be sorry with the B&B Bullet!!!
Even if they didn't sound great....those tips look CrAZy!!!
