Default Battery Tender JR Warning

I have purchased 2 Battery Tender JRs for my Vette and Sky. The paper insert from the packaging makes a great warning device. I laminated mine and cut the laminate to the original shape for the most part. It fits between the wheel and column on both cars. I keep one in each car under the seat and install it when I hook up the charger. Now I won't forget to unhook it first. I also mounted outlets to my hoist so I have a handy place to plug them in.

Clever!! I just leave the cord hang out of the hood as I rarely leave it sit long enough that it needs to be hooked up!! Your little idea would be hard to miss!!

Great idea. I have the Battery Tender Plus for mine and recently almost drove off with the cord still attached.

I just leave the hood cracked open as a reminder.

Good idea.

I use (BATTERY TENDER PLUS) the ring terminal harness hooked up permanently to the battery. I don't have to leave the hood open as the harness drops straight down where the male/female connection is made.

I forgot to disconnect it...ONCE...:o ...it's never happened again.

I put a piece of masking tape over key hole in ignition.

Default Connectors

I do the same. Have the eyelet terminals connected directly to the battery posts. I use genius chargers instead. I like their connectors better. http://www.geniuschargers.com/accessories

I was a little worried when I first started connecting the car so I made up my

Stop dummy! card

I dont use it anymore. In five years I have pulled out once with the cord attached and luckily the CTek quick connect plug I have routed out the side cove just disconnected.
