[Z06] Charge System Fault Error after header install

Charge System Fault Error after header install
Is this something to be concerned about? I drove the car for 10-15 minutes after install and she runs Great. "Charge System Fault Error" came on and off during test drive. Will be tuning very soon, any advice what to do?

Just the battery dropping below a certain voltage point. If the car has been sitting for a while or the battery is old, it is to be expected. Once you drive it a bit and recharge it, it should go away.

I've had the "Charge System Fault Error" pop up every so ofter ever since the car was new. The dealer replaced the alternator, battery, and other stuff that I have since forgot from 2003. I have had 4 batteries since 2003. The "Charge System Fault Error" is random on my vehicle...the car could sit one day & it could still come up; or, it could sit 3 days and not show up. It must be one of those union/GM poor quality jobs that everyone seems to have issues with; something for every model year. By the way, having "Charge System Fault Error" messages randomly pop up since 2003 is not something "to be expected". Like where do you get your info for " it is to be expected"?

I had the altenator off and battery disconnected for a week while installing my headers. This is the first time ever seeing this error on my vehicle which occured upon first start up. I will drive longer tonight and see if that rids this error.

Charge the battery first using charger or atkeast trickle charger takes little time but wont cook battery.
Our altyernators are very expensive just keep in mind, too much strain on alternator if had to charge a drained battery.
If you had to loose or disconnect starter than check the ground there? as it happened to me had to completely remove starter (headers install), and after that i did not tightened enough and than slowly rust oxidation build up on starter groun and had to go thru 2 batteries and an alternator, as battery was drain in just 2 days.
Grounds gotta be cleaned and tight.

Ok Complete Meltdown last night. Took the car out for a drive and well not only did the "charge system fault error" message appear but I also got these ---> service traction system / service active handling / low engine power / low voltage / low or no ABS and Im sure there were a few more in between the light show on my dash. And all that happened right before she keeled over and died. So now im stuck near the Haight ashbury district of SF waiting for a jump. Got it started drove 8 blocks and she died again,
and called a flatbed. This is starting to get not fun, A simple header install results in all this. I need help Z brothers! thanks for your time
