trust me...there is no value in a stock c5 catback....butt....you can place it here in the forums parts section for free and may get lucky and find someone local to you who wants to go back to stock .

I sold a set for $100 before. They may be worth that to a guy that is trading his Vette in with aftermarket exhaust that is worth $500 used. He can put stock on, and sell the aftermarket...

it always seems that someone here is looking to "go back to stock" usually about the time they are looking to sell their car. i'll bet there is probably a "wanted" on the for sale/wanted forum for a set up now.

At the Mid America shows there is always a huge pile of them from the show goers that get them swapped out during the show. It's hard to believe that there are any stock systems left on the C5's out there.

I sold the stock cat back off my '00 - got $35 for it. The buyer was going to try some kind of mod on it. You never know - someone might just want it either for project or for going back to stock.

I got all my front end parts off a fella that was parting a C5. He asked if I wanted the stock mufflers for free. Being the packrat I am, I took them. Thought I'd stick em on Craigs for 50 bucks or give them to my scrap guy.

Vettes remind me of the Harley. Not a big market for stock takeoff stuff especially exhaust. But you never know.

Sold mine on that "national auction site" and used the box and packing that the Borlas came in.

You might be able to get a few dollars recycling it if you have such a place near you. At the very least they'll let you throw it away for free (the waste center near me takes scrap metal for free). Or could try ebay like someone else mentioned.
