C6 emblems on a C5??
Anyone done it? What are your feeling about it?
The reason I want to do it is I Clay bar'd my Speedway White Z yesterday and the insides on the C5 badges on the hood and trunk lid are dirty and nasty in there. And I cant really get them clean with the clay.
So I thought the C6 badges would take care of that issue..
Any pics?

Don't do it. C6 flags don't belong on a C5.
However, I removed my front and rear emblems and replaced with decal style emblems I created/designed. The rear came off rather easy, but the front was hard to remove. Strongly suggest heating up for about 3-5 minutes with blow dryer to warm up the glue and slowly peel back.

If you are going to go through the trouble to replace, can't you replace with new C5 emblems or just take off and clean the current emblems in some way like an ultrasonic bath.

You wouldnt put ZO6 or ZR1 badges on the car because it just looks stupid to anyone who knows better. The same goes for C6 emblems on a C5, anyway I like look of the C5 emblems better than the C6, however if I had a C6 I wouldnt put C5 emblems on it either. As far as cleaning goes, take the extra few minutes and get in those hard to reach places with a detail brush, no big deal.

I wouldn't put C6 badges on a C5, but I have seen some members who have removed the halo around the C5 emblem and put just the flags on the car. Actually looks pretty good.

I say wot the H*ll go for it; it's not like you're trying to be a pretend Z06. I think C6 badges would go great with an LS3 crate motor under the hood.
