Paint engine caps??

I did. It sucked quite frankly. I sanded them down to get the raised letters and stickers/emblems off. I wiped them down with some Duplicolor paint prep liquid. I used Bulldog adhesion promoter and primer to smooth them out. And then I used SEM paint and clear coat.
Some of them bubbled on me after some heat cycles. I had to re-do a few of them do to that.
If I had it to do over again, I would buy some good metal stick on caps, and permanently attach them.
