Default Recurring oil sensor problem

I searched for info on this and couldn't find this example... '02 Zee, I replaced the oil sensor 4 days ago and today the oil gauge pegged and the HUD did the same. The only difference this time was the DIC guage display also registered a constant 130 psi... the last time the DIC readings were what you expect to see, 98 - 105 or so psi. I know bad replacement parts happen but before I go through this again... is there anything else I should look at... wiring, circuit board, etc? OH yeah... my bad, I did not replace with a brass sensor... but it should not have gone bad in 4 days. Trying to get it ready to sell... Thanks for any help!

Any trouble codes stored? If the wiring is bad, I think there are a couple of codes that will indicate that. I'd use the brass bodied oil sensor next time. Be sure to torque to spec ... don't over tighten.
