Mod Red Madness
Just picked the car up from the interior shop who installed the MR seat covers and recovered the knee bolster in NOS torch red vinyl which is now discontinued. The covers are factory OEM pieces I found on the auction site for a very reasonable price. I'm VERY pleased, to say the least. The seats are nice and firm now as he added a layer of jute and extra padding. I'm installing door panels and MR glove box this afternoon. Final touch- torch red special order ultimats from Lloyds enroute. If any one is looking for a MR knee bolster, Pm me for the shop info here in Orlando. It was reasonably price and looks factory correct. Can't say enough about the quality of their work and great service.

Thanks guys. I have a silver iPod too so I can go either way...
I finished the car up tonight so the interior is complete. I've always loved the MR combo ever since I first saw it. I'll post up some completed pix after a good detail tomorrow.

Toque's car is killer. I did go with red. A friend has a TT cobalt red C6 with the red mats and it looks killer. You may be right with the torch red being a brighter shade however. We'll see. Keep the MR pix coming.

Lloyds Mats with Red Binding
As much as I like red, I too think that the red mats might be too much. But I do like the black mats with red binding, and thats what I have.
Not the best pictures, but you can get a feel of the contrast the red edging has.
And my car is really dirty, needs a detail bad!
