Default New Dood.

After wanting a Vette since I was ten years old, I finally bought a 2004 on Monday. I'll be 46 tomorrow.

And no, this is not my mid-life crisis. The pony tail is.

Anyhoo, the car is incredible to drive. More than I was hoping to get. For the most part, I'm speechless and that's an understatement. But all y'all know what I'm talking about!

I'm open to suggestions on what to watch out for. Looking at getting the CAGS eliminator. That dang shift thing is driving me nutz. Whoever thought going into 4th at that low rpm needs a brain examination.

Anyhoo, I like what I see here so far. Looking forward to more!

Let see some pictures and as far as the 1st to 4th goes, I have had my '01 for almost 6 year now and I can count the times on one hand that I had the happen to me. Just run 1st gear out a little more before you shift and it is no problem.

Congratulations, and welcome !

I know what you mean, the CAGS eliminator was my first (and one of the best) mods I did. I almost had cars hit me going around corners from a stoplight with the C5 shifting from 1st to 4th gear!

Be careful and enjoy the new ride - many bolt-ons for it to make it an even better experience

And gotta stop with the "ANYHOO" -

Pictures of the new ride when you can -

Did the previous owner do any aftermarket mods?

Thanks,Matt
