Static from speakers.

Static from speakers.
I am getting static from my speakers when the radio is on FM. There is no static when AM is on and none with the engine off. Athens static varies with engine speed and is more like a ticking sound instead of a "white noise".
Any input would be appreciated.

I had a similiar problem with my OEM speakers in my '99 FRC & just wound up changing out the speakers with Boston Acoustic's.
Switch your request to the C5 Technical board, probably will get more input......good luck.

If its changing with the engine revs it sounds like you need suppressors. Wonder why it just started now though. Did you install a mod recently?
