man...you people are getting ripped off with the $5-6k quotes!

You could easily get that repaired for half if you do it yourself...AND get aftermarket stuff (widebody, hood, tigershark front, etc)

We aren't getting ripped off, the insurance company is. I got my check from my insurance company yesterday. 7,889.00. I will probably spend somewhere in the range of 2,000-2,500 in fixing it myself. Look at the factory prices on new hoods, headlights, innerfenders, fender, mirrors. Reason people are quoted so high.

I am happy with the stock hood and fenders, but really considering that tigershark front bumper, with chin spoiler. If you ask me the c5 should have come stock with this.
