I have used yellow tops. I have decent stereo's tho. I had one for 10 years, and am on my second one with no problems. Regardless, Why do you guys complain when they replaced the battery with no questions asked. sounds like good customer service to me.
**** happens and **** breaks. nothing is perfect. I have bought new parts from the parts store that were bad. its plastic...I have seen batteries of all kinds leak and corrode. anyway i could see being more pissed with a bad customer service experience then having to clean up some ****. yes, its a PIA, but it could happen to any battery. especially if it was over tightened.
No you won't. They don't make that battery anymore. Your car should have a battery with at least CCA 590 RC 110 Minutes. The Delco replacement battery is a little short on RC. That's why I went with the Die Hard. Good luck.
Do the newer vette batteries fit? With all the extra electronics they now have, surely it would be a good unit.
Optima is over rated is my worthless .02. I got 5 years out of my original AC Delco battery, with no battery tender ever used. I replaced it with the same AC Delco. I have a friend in the parts dept at my Chevy dealer so I get a good price.
