my car came with the analog hvac controls and i believe the blend switch has gone bad. id like to have the digital controls so i was wondering if it possible to just buy a digital control unit and it work. not sure if it requires any other parts or if its even possible with the wiring harness thats in the car, but it would be nice to have the digital setup. thanks in advance!

With the electronics involved in the Dual Zone A/C, I would imagine it is not just a plug and play item when the car didn't come with the dual zone in the first place. Maybe someone that knows the in's and out's of the dual zone system can shed more light on this.
There's also an hvac controller under there plus RPO changes to the BCM. I don't know about the various blend doors and actuators that would need changes.
This question has come up before and I believe if you have the manual system you can not just plug and play the digital in. You have to change the entire hvac system from the vents to the actuators, basically re doing the entire system because the manual system is not set up for dual zones. To be honest your better off with the manual system anyway, less to go wrong, the digital system is not as dependable.
