Default hurst shifter...

Also, could it be just a hurst **** on a stock shifter? Seems like the throw might be a little long. Before driving this one, I test drove a couple of C6s. I might be wrong but the throw on this car seems longer than the C6. I know that the C6 shifter upgrade is popular for the C5 and I would assume that the Hurst shifter would have a similar throw as the C6. Am I wrong on that?

Yes, a Hurst shifter will have a pretty short throw ... so you're probably right that it's just a Hurst **** on the stock shifter.

it leaked from the top of the windows. the weather stripping was fine. but it seemed to come in between the weather strip retainer and window bezel which both lacked sufficient weather stripping. water would travel down the pillar to the dash and then onto the floor. pretty simple fix when you realize what the problem is. good luck!

I finally got a chance to pull a wheel off and check if stock. The wheels are stamped GM and Speedline so they must have been chromed after the fact. Sweet! The chrome looks great IMHO.
